Leading member of the wayfinding team for the analysis, strategy, and design guidelines for the renovation of Penn Station, the busiest train station in North America serving long-distance and commuter train lines as well as the New York City Subway.

Planning and strategy for this complex station required collaboration with numerous teams, balancing interests of train partners, careful future-proofing of the wayfinding systems, and advocating for effective wayfinding solutions that benefit users across transit lines.

 

Airport Standards Manual for Pedestrian Signing & Wayfinding

Port Authority of NY and NJ / Mott MacDonald | 2023 - 2025

On-going wayfinding projects for the Port Authority airports in the greater New York City area.

Improvements to the Port Authority’s online wayfinding manual based on user feedback and passenger need. In 2024, Jenna led a major expansion of the manual to advance guidelines for digital signage.

Projects in the terminals include signage, information, and map design, as well as gauging effectiveness of existing terminal processes, signage, and spaces.

Wayfinding consultant for the implementation a new light rail in Austin, Texas.

Our team performed a thorough assessment of the existing transit systems for a seamless future roll out. We then developed high level guidelines to ensure effective wayfinding principles are applied in the transit’s development.

 

Parking solutions for Toronto Pearson Airport

Greater Toronto Airports Authority | 2024 - 2025

Generated wayfinding solutions to simplify a complex parking garage, where both pedestrians and drivers were constantly getting lost.

Designed a series of low-cost solutions and oversaw implementation of the new signage.
